Mr Milk (Must Represent My Ilk) is a London born ‘vibe’ from Sudan. He grew up between Saudi Arabia and California before moving back to the UK for university.
Mr Milk’s first reggae tune is a dedication to his family and millions of other Sudanese, who were forced to flee their homes as a result of war breaking out in April 2023.
Recorded on the Tough Times Riddim, which was produced by brothers, Adrian and Darrian Johnson of Hungry Lion Records, in the legendary Tuff Gong studio.
The song depicts the multiple warring factions as Vultures Eagle & Crows who pose an existential threat to the Elephant, Sudan's national symbol.
